1. Who we are
SnapStudios is operated by WeBeeld. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. For anything not covered here, contact us at hello@webeeld.com.
2. Information you give us
When you submit the contact form or the early-customer form, we collect the name, studio name, email address, phone number and message you enter, along with which form you used. You choose what to put in these fields; we only ask for what we need to reply to you sensibly.
3. Information collected automatically
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records standard usage data such as the pages you view, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, referring site, and device and browser type. This is used in aggregate to understand which parts of the site are useful. If you do not accept analytics cookies, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics data is sent. Our servers also keep short-lived technical records, including a rate-limiting counter tied to your IP address, to stop the contact form being abused.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary storage keeps the site working — for example remembering your language choice, your accessibility settings, and your cookie decision itself. These cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics and only after you agree. Marketing cookies are used to measure campaigns and are likewise opt-in. You can change your decision at any time through the cookie settings button in the corner of the page, or the link in the footer.
5. Why we may use your information
To respond to your inquiry and provide information about SnapStudios; to set up and support an early-access account if you ask for one; to keep a record of inquiries for follow-up; to measure and improve the site where you have allowed analytics; and to comply with legal obligations. Where consent is our legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Web3Forms, which delivers contact-form submissions to us by email; Google Analytics, where you have accepted analytics cookies; and our hosting and database providers, which store the site and the inquiry log. Each processes data under our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
7. International transfers
Some of these providers operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses and equivalent transfer mechanisms.
8. How long we keep it
Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to follow up and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records, then deleted. Rate-limiting counters expire within minutes. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Preferences stored in your browser stay until you clear them or change your choice.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@webeeld.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to the inquiry log. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
This site is aimed at professional photographers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you.
